Dear parents and friends,

Thank you so much for your generous donations to the Basket Brigade.  We raised over £80 from the Advent Calendars :). Iona School is an essential part of this 100% volunteer run charity and we have over 100 nominated families this year who we are looking forward to surprising with some Festive Magic!!

The packing day is this Saturday 17th, 10am to 4pm in Iona’s School Hall and it’s a wonderful day of good cheer and Festive Giving.  You and your children are welcome – let us know if you can make it – even an hour helps (especially at the end of the day!) Just email rough times to;  Vanya@indigobrave.com

And lastly – if you feel moved to give a gift to someone this Festive Season in need of some love from their community…. Please just drop in to Reception, or the older children are collecting in their classrooms.

We need a couple more Vegan and gluten free treats and any food treats as well as smellies for hard working mums and dads!!

Much love for a wonderful Festive time!

The Basket Brigade

On Monday evening it was our Advent Festival, marking the time when we begin to look forward to the coming of the Christmas Light.

In the dark stillness of the evening, children lit a candle to the sound of gentle singing and music and placed it in a spiral. Parents commented on what a moving festival it was.
