Friday 23rd March from 6 pm in the school hall

Fundraising for our upcoming class trip to the Eden Project in Cornwall

 

Do you have a song to sing, a dance to dance, an instrument to play, a poem to read, a joke to tell, or a remote-control helicopter to fly?  

Whatever your talent or interest, we would be so appreciative if you could share it with us on this night. 

ALL current and previous pupils and parents, and their friends and families, are invited to take part.

Don’t by shy! You can be guaranteed a supportive audience…

Please come along on the night to have fun and support our talented and creative community.

Dear parents and friends of Iona,

Please see below details of Spring opportunities for Forest School on the land at Iona School.

Please note that sessions for 5-7 year olds will now be on Monday evenings instead of Tuesdays. These will be run by Nicola Dixon and myself.  Sessions for 8-11 year olds will continue to be on Thursday evenings, run by Raquel Ezccurra and myself.

These sessions are open to all, including those outside the school. If you or your child has a friend who may be interested please spread the word.

 

We have introduced a few concessionary places at 25% discount for those on a low income. Please enquire for more details. We also offer a 25% sibling discount.

The Advent Fayre raised a smashing £6,497.43 on Saturday!

Parent  and Toddler Group Leader Vacancy

We are looking for an efficient and enthusiastic Parent Toddler Group Leader.

You will be working directly with parents and children supporting them in their journey and will be representing the school and its ingrained ethos.

You will be capable of promoting Steiner education and ethos in the best possible way and be happy to undertake further training in your role.

We would like you to have experience in Steiner education and childcare or at least a great openness to learn. You will need to be capable and organised, used to carrying out basic administration techniques, adhering to company policies and be able to show flexibility and proactivity in your role.

The group runs each Tuesday and Wednesday during term time (37 weeks a year) and is open from 9.00am-11.45am. We may over the next few years increase these days dependant on demand.

The Iona School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Any offers of employment will be subject to two good employers’ references and a clean enhanced DBS check.
