Iona School’s Advent Fayre was a resounding success on Saturday! Everyone commented on what a special day it was and a lot of fun was had by all!

It’s amazing what the magical combination of parent power and staff commitment can achieve and this was reflected in the feel-good atmosphere of the day and the fantastic total raised for the school which was £ £6,009.27!

Thank you-thank you-thank you to everyone involved-you have been amazing and to everyone for coming along and supporting the event. We look forward to doing it all again next year:)

We’ve had some weird and wonderful characters at school today and so far have raised a smashing £152. A cake sale was also held by the Kindergarten children, much to their delight! Donations are still rolling in…

31. March 2014 · Comments Off on MAS Y MAS & AGENT LA LA fundraiser raises £1050 for Class 4/5 and the school! · Categories: Fundraising at Iona School
Dear all,

Mas Y Mas and Agent La La’s fundraising concert on Saturday was a great night of music, feasting and dancing.  It was good to see lots of new faces coming to a school event and enjoying the newly refurbished school hall.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this event happen, from setting-up the hall on Friday and preparing tapas to selling tickets and tidying up at the end of the night.

We raised £1050 (after expenses) which is really fantastic!

These funds will partly go towards Class 4/5’s fundraising pot and partly to the general school development pot.

With best regards,

Dominique
