Dear parents and friends of Iona,

A new year has started, and it brings new exciting Forest School activities with it!

This half term, one long session for each group from 10.30 to 14.30:

– Sunday 22nd January, for 5-7 year olds.

– Saturday 4th February, for 8-11 year olds.

And with the longer (and hopefully warmer) days after the half term holidays, we will start again the weekly sessions:

– Tuesdays for 5-7 year olds.

– Thursdays for 8-11 year olds.

Check the posters (below) for more information and feel free to share them with anyone interested, these sessions are open to children from outside the Iona school too.

See you soon,

Class 2/3 children ran 1 mile at school today to raise money for Umunandi. They did amazingly well and were beautifully supported by the rest of the class.

Well done everyone!!!!! We are all proud of you.

UMUNANDI -‘friends’ is Iona School’s chosen charity.

Iona School has made a commitment to sponsoring two boys, Daniel and Malpalo, at the Green Park School in Zambia, Africa for the rest of their school life.
