A new talk with Australian Steiner teacher and bestselling author Lou Harvey-Zahra

What are the Twelve Senses of a human being Rudolf Steiner identifies? How can we make sure they are nurtured for a well-balanced, calm, and healthy childhood?

This is a unique opportunity to hear Lou speak on this interesting topic. Lou’s presentations are always insightful, humorous, practical, and full of everyday wisdom and ideas for parents to take home to help children to flourish.

“Sleep and Daily Rhythms – Their Contribution to Learning and Wellbeing”

A TALK BY DR JAMES DYSON

MONDAY 26th FEBRUARY 2018 AT 19.30 AT THE IONA SCHOOL

Dr James Dyson is in great demand internationally within the anthroposophical movement and is currently teaching and facilitating on several professional anthroposophical training courses, spanning a wide range of medical, therapeutic and psychological themes.

After qualifying as a medical doctor in 1975 he worked in general practice and concurrently studied anthroposophic medicine where his practice, which included general medicine and some psychiatry, continued for nearly 25 years.

During his long and varied career as an anthroposophic physician, James has also worked as a visiting doctor in Waldorf Schools and in several schools and residential communities for children and adults with learning disabilities.

Since leaving Park Attwood in 2003, James has furthered his long-standing interest in mental health and developmental psychology with formal postgraduate training, gaining a master’s degree in Psychosynthesis Psychology.

Having retired from formal medical practice in 2014, James continues to work in an advisory and consultative capacity for several educational facilities and is also extending his life-long involvement in adult education.
